The District has closed all fields and cancelled all activities today (Fri July 17)
Dear EMSA Members,
As we continue to prioritize the safety of our soccer community, EMSA has decided to go ahead with another District-wide closure and cancellation. The City of London has once again closed their fields to the public, and other locations in the District are set to continue at a high AQHI (https://www.airqualityontario.com/aqhi/).
If you are travelling to other Districts, please contact the home team to confirm cancellations in their area. If you are the home team, please contact the away team letting them know that these cancellations have been made.
Some other news:
The Gen26 Pumped Up! Festival is still a-go with a new location. The event has moved from 1Password Park in St. Thomas to the BMO Centre in London.
Games/tournaments happening this weekend: like regular season games, please contact the tournament organizers/home association for an update on whether these events will be continuing this weekend or if they will be moving to alternate indoor locations should the high AQHI persist.
